Surgical Technologist Job in San Francisco, CA

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Sutter Health CPMC Mission Bernal Campus in San Francisco, CA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 5x8 variable day shifts with start times of 6:45 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM
• Weekends included in rotation
• On-call required on a PRN basis
• Occasional float to additional campuses

Your Role

You will assist in preparing for and performing routine and delegated duties during surgery according to department and hospital standards. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and work with specialized equipment including DaVinci robot, Hana table, Trios table, and BK ultrasound unit.

Specialties and Procedures

Strong experience required in Neuro, Spine, and Total Joint procedures. You will manage cases including orthopedic/total joints, podiatry, ORIF, arthroscopy, neuro-spine, ENT, and robotic-assisted gynecological, general, and urological surgeries. Experience with DaVinci robotic system is required. You will treat adolescent and adult patient populations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years surgical tech experience (3+ years ideal)
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current CST certification (NBSTSA)
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,115.94.
