Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Variable day and night shifts available: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• May be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Float to the emergency department within competency required
• Work on a 25-bed Med Surg unit primarily treating geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetes
• Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 average during night shifts
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required; ICU and ER experience required
• Strong charting experience required with CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Associate degree or certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Any colored scrubs permitted
