Occupational Therapist Job in Purcell, OK

You will deliver occupational therapy services in a long-term care setting, working days on a 5x8 schedule. This is a 91-day assignment beginning July 13, 2026, at Tide Health Group - Purcell Care Center in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Your responsibilities include:

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions per regulatory and clinical practice requirements
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services in relation to patient evaluation
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy
• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
• Adhere to NBCOT and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice

Required qualifications: Active Oklahoma OT license at time of submission, 1+ years of OT experience, and long-term care or rehabilitation experience. Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year. No on-call or weekend requirements.

Weekly pay is $2,448.
