Occupational Therapist Job in Moore, OK

Tide Health Group - Thunder Care and Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a temporary position in Moore, Oklahoma. This role offers a day shift schedule working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for a 91-day assignment beginning July 20, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,641.

Position Overview

You will screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and functional limitations, developing individualized care plans based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practice. Your responsibilities include administering therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities and exercises, modalities, and assistive device training. You will assess patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all outcomes in the electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Communicate progress, barriers, and clinical updates with supervisors and health team members
• Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate patient records
• Record treatment minutes for all services provided
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
• Adhere to NBCOT standards, state practice acts, and professional ethics requirements

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Skills checklist completion within 1 year
• 0–1 references required at submission

No weekend shifts are required. On-call schedule will be determined by the facility. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in long-term care while working with a supportive clinical team.
