Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Newton, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 91-day travel assignment at Shady Acres in Newton, TX. This is a day-shift position offering steady, predictable hours with no on-call or weekend responsibilities.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Weekly pay: $1,625

Your Responsibilities

You will work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists to deliver patient care. Your day-to-day duties include:

• Provide treatment through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions
• Record patients' progress and report results of each treatment to the supervising physical therapist
• Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation and mobility goals

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant credential
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required
• Texas state license or compact license
