Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Clyde, TX

Avir at Clyde is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a temporary position in long-term care. You will work under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver therapeutic care to patients in our facility.

Your Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of physical therapists to treat patients according to established care plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, massage, gait training, and balance training
• Record patients' progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist
• Support patients' rehabilitation goals within a long-term care setting

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,641.60
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements

Requirements

• Current Texas PTA license or active compact license
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
