Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Hamlin, TX

Join Avir at Hamlin as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a long-term care setting. You will work under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver therapeutic care to patients in a structured, supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing therapeutic interventions such as exercise, massage, gait and balance training
• Working directly with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals
• Recording detailed patient progress and reporting treatment results to supervising physical therapists
• Contributing to a care team focused on patient outcomes and quality of life

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (days)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,641.60
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant degree or equivalent credential
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
• Valid Texas license or compact license
