Endoscopy RN Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy department. You will work four 9-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) with an on-call rotation component. This is a full-time position based in Geneva, New York, with a start date of August 31, 2026, and a 180-day contract length.

Shift Details

• Four 9-hour shifts per week with varying start times: 6:30 AM (Pre-Op Endo), 7:00 AM (Circulator/Tech Endo), or 7:30 AM (Post-Op Endo) depending on your assigned role each day
• No weekends or holidays required except during call rotation
• On-call rotation: 6–8 days per month, including one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday, plus two full weekends of call and one additional weekday per week
• 1-hour response time required for call shifts

Your Role

You will provide specialized endoscopy nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations. Your responsibilities include assessing patient and family needs, developing individualized plans of care, and evaluating patient progress in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. You will administer medications, apply clinical interventions, and provide patient and family education to support self-care and lifestyle changes beyond hospitalization. You will also promote patient comfort and emotional support in a healing environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Endoscopy environment as an RN
• New York State RN Licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens reasonably anticipated

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,574
