PCU Registered Nurse Job in Greensboro, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Cone Health — The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. This is a 112-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotations required
• No call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,099.52
• 36 orientation hours provided

Role Responsibilities

• Float between all Cone Health campuses as needed
• Manage patient ratio of 1:5 in a high-level, high-functioning PCU with multiple long-term patients
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management and interpretation
• Peripheral line, PICC line, and central line care and management
• Titrate drips and manage heparin and IV insulin protocols
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Chest tube care and management
• High-flow nasal cannula management
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Wound care and wound vac experience

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers welcome
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with cardiac telemetry required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
