Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

Rochester General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the Med/Surg unit. You'll work four 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required.

Role Overview

This is a high-volume unit caring for patients with cardiac conditions including CHF, acute MI, post-device care (pacemakers), and arrhythmias, as well as general surgery patients including colorectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic procedures, breast surgery, and reconstruction cases. You'll manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 and participate in floating as needed.

Requirements

• Active New York nursing license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and valid NIHSS certifications
• EPIC charting experience
• Ability to be located more than 75 miles from the facility (relocation required)

Scrub color is any combination of navy and white. First-time travelers are accepted. This assignment is 91 days, starting November 17, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,607.
