Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

Rochester General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on our Telemetry unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 4x12 schedule, with every other weekend required.

Role Overview:

• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7
• Float within Med Surg skillset as needed
• EPIC charting system
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white

Requirements:

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience; 2 years preferred
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required

Essential Skills:

• Blood product administration
• Heparin protocols
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration
• Non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral line care and management
• Rapid Response and Code team participation

Assignment Details:

• 13-week contract starting November 10, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,607
• Every other holiday availability required
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during the contract
• Time-off requests must be submitted upon hiring; maximum 10 days RTO

Candidate Criteria:

• Must be located more than 75 miles from the facility
