Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

Join Rochester General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment ideal for nurses seeking experience in a Med-Surg Telemetry environment with strong clinical foundations.

Position Details

• 4x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required across assigned departments
• Weekly pay: $2,607
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 17, 2026

Requirements

• Current New York nursing license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and valid NIHSS certifications required (NIHSS must be included in your submission)
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; recognize and respond to dysrhythmias
• Manage telemetry equipment and patient monitoring systems
• Coordinate with Rapid Response and Code teams
• Peripheral line insertion, care, and management
• Oxygen delivery via nasal cannula and tank administration
• Non-invasive airway management techniques
• Proper application and maintenance of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment
