ED RN Job in Arvada, CO

CommonSpirit Emergency & Urgent Care Arvada is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required. You are guaranteed one summer and one winter holiday off.

What You Will Do

• Triage and manage your own patients independently in a 12-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, averaging 25 patients per day
• Manage ventilators, CPAP, and heated high flow equipment without respiratory therapy support on site
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
• Draw patient labs and train in Point of Care Lab functions
• Handle common diagnoses including chest pain, respiratory conditions, dehydration, orthopedic injuries, rule-out stroke, lacerations, and GI conditions
• Chart in EPIC
• Float to sister Emergency & Urgent Care facilities as needed
• No on-call or standby requirements

About You

You are self-directed, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple patient responsibilities. You are available to work Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ENPC, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Completion of 2-shift unit-specific orientation

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,148. Assignment begins November 2, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Wear navy scrubs.
