Emergency Room RN Job in Craig, Colorado

Memorial Regional Health is hiring a registered nurse for the Emergency Department on night shift in Craig, Colorado. This 91-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your clinical judgment and prioritization skills make an immediate difference.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement individualized plans of care using the nursing process and patient assessment data
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and support safe discharge or transfer
• Perform triage, treatment, and evaluation while maintaining thorough, compliant documentation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team using evidence-based practices to coordinate patient care, including referrals and transitions
• Identify and address communication barriers related to psychosocial, literacy, financial, and cultural factors
• Assess and provide patient and family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and individual circumstances
• Delegate patient care tasks effectively to ancillary personnel and support staff
• May precept student nurses and new hires as needed

Qualifications and Licensure

• Current and active Colorado RN license or Compact license required
• BLS, ACLS, and at least one of PALS, ENPC, TNCC, STABLE, or NRP certification required
• Two years of hospital nursing experience preferred
• One year of Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Assignment Details

Night shift position with weekly pay of $2,350. Assignment begins November 16, 2026, and runs for 91 weeks. You will work in a collaborative hospital environment and adhere to all organizational policies, including dress code standards.
