Physical Therapist Job in El Paso, TX

Las Palmas Medical Center El Paso is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work across both acute care and outpatient settings, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Location: El Palmas Medical Center El Paso, Texas
• Duration: 13 weeks, starting October 26, 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5×8 days)
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments for acute and outpatient patients
• Manage patient loads of 12–15 in acute care and 5–6 in outpatient settings
• Document all patient interactions in the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Current Texas State License in Physical Therapy
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated competency in both acute care and outpatient therapy settings
• Bilingual skills preferred due to the patient population served
