ICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract position in their Intensive Care Unit. This role offers the opportunity to deliver critical care in a specialized setting with clear expectations and competitive compensation.

Position Details

• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Rotating weekend schedule (every other weekend)
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $1,665
• Start date: September 1, 2026

Clinical Environment

• 14-bed ICU unit with 1:2 patient ratio
• May float to Med/Surg unit with 1:5 patient ratio as needed
• Unit staffing includes 1 PCA and 1 UC support
• Perform critical care procedures including vasopressor management
• Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Strong attendance record; no history of call-ins or no-shows

Facility Standards

• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Hair must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
• Nails must be clean and healthy
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
