Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work on the 4th floor Neuro unit with a current census of 18 beds, expanding to 30 beds upon completion of renovations
• Patient ratios of 6-7:1
• Team nursing approach with techs on the unit and unit secretary available on day shifts
• Free charge nurse available to support the team
• Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period
• Holiday shifts worked in rotation
• Required to float to like units as needs dictate
• Must perform hourly safety rounds and bedside shift report with patients
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Standard Med Surg equipment utilized on unit
• Required dress code: Navy colored uniform
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained at facility)
