Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work on a 4th floor Neuro/Med Surg unit with a team nursing approach
• Scheduled in accordance with facility policy working every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period
• Patient ratio of 6-7:1
• Unit includes tech support, unit secretary on day shift, and a free charge nurse to support the team
• Utilize Meditech for documentation
• Work with regular Med Surg equipment
• May be required to float to like units as needs dictate
• Must perform hourly safety rounds and bedside shift report with patients
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained on site)
• Required dress code: Navy colored uniform
