ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Preferred schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week
• 48 guaranteed hours approved for travel
• 4-week schedule posted 2 weeks prior to start date
• Work in a 39-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Unit support includes one unit secretary and 2-3 techs on the floor
• Utilize equipment including Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, and Dash bedside cardiac monitors
• Document using MediTech system
• Perform 30-minute to 1-hour patient rounding and bedside shift report
• Assist with chest tubes, moderate sedation, lumbar punctures, laceration repair, and blood products
• Assist in intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures
• Must be multi-task and throughput focused with strong teamwork skills
• Floating policy: ER hold unit while at capacity, rare during summer months
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Required dress code: Black scrubs
