Telemetry RN Job in Fayetteville, GA

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac diagnoses on our Telemetry unit at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. This is a 140-day assignment with 3x12 night shifts, paying $1,916 weekly. Start date is October 26, 2026.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage a 5:1 patient ratio caring for chest pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, heart catheterization, TEE, cardioversions, stress tests, pacemakers, AMI, AFib, CHF, bradycardia, AICD insertion, and SVT/tachycardia
• Float within the facility as needed, within your scope of practice
• Work every other weekend with no on-call obligations

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Active travel healthcare experience
• Current Georgia or Compact nursing license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, central line care, vasoactive drip management, PICC line management, post-cardiac angiogram and post-MI care, pre/post-cardiac catheterization protocols, peripheral line management, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions

Preferred experience:

• Epic charting system
• Community hospital setting
• Trauma Level I or Level II facility

Schedule notes:

• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all time off must be finalized at submission
• If one or two major holidays fall within your assignment, you will work all of them; if three major holidays fall within your assignment, you will work two

Interdisciplinary support is available from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and your unit secretary.
