Telemetry RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You'll provide direct patient care in a 10-bed rapid admission unit at Grady Memorial Hospital, managing a fast-paced workload of general medical and surgical patients. This role combines the monitoring skills of telemetry nursing with the versatility of medical-surgical care, giving you variety in your patient population and clinical challenges.

What You'll Do

• Monitor patients on telemetry equipment while providing comprehensive nursing care
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1, serving both medical patients and surgical patients awaiting procedures
• Work independently and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
• Navigate higher patient turnover than a standard medical-surgical unit

What You Need

• Current RN license with Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry specialty
• BLS and ACLS certifications (cards required)
• Valid work history and resume with no gaps exceeding 60 days
