Telemetry RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 38-bed telemetry unit at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-day duration, starting November 16, 2026. You will earn $2,069 weekly.

Your role centers on caring for adult patients over age 65 with diagnoses including trauma, falls, fractures, and motor vehicle collisions. You will maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio and administer Heparin drips and acute medications as ordered. Your responsibilities include:

• Prevent hospital-acquired delirium through evidence-based protocols and early mobility practices
• Implement HAPI (Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injury) prevention and falls prevention strategies
• Use specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment
• Communicate effectively with families and involve them as partners in patient care
• Document and manage patient information in the EPIC EMR system

You must have documented med/surg and telemetry experience with completed skills checklist. Required certifications are BLS and ACLS. Experience in geriatrics, trauma, and orthopedic trauma is essential. Familiarity with hospital-acquired delirium prevention, early mobility, HAPI prevention, and falls prevention is required.
