RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

• Work in a 38-bed telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for adult patients over the age of 65 with common diagnoses including trauma, falls, fractures, and motor vehicle collisions
• Administer Heparin drips and all acute medications as ordered
• Experience in geriatrics, trauma, and orthopedic trauma required
• Must be familiar with hospital-acquired delirium prevention and early mobility protocols
• Must be knowledgeable in HAPI (Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injury) prevention and falls prevention
• Comfortable with family communication and involvement in patient care
• Utilize specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have documented med/tele experience and completed skills checklist
• No requested time off (RTO) permitted
