About this role

Join Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit. This is a 3x12 day shift position with a duration of 89 weeks, starting October 12, 2026. You'll earn $2,559 weekly.

Your Role:

You will provide direct patient care while assessing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. You'll review patient histories and ensure timely completion of documentation. Diagnostics and laboratory data review is essential, with abnormal results reported promptly to physicians and the care team.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you'll formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical requirements. You'll delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed team members as appropriate, evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, and revise care plans as needed. Accurate and timely documentation in the patient record is critical to your success.

What We Need:

  • Current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience, with specialty experience within the past 12 months
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching frequently
  • Standard precautions compliance due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Additional Responsibilities:

You'll participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives, contributing to improvements in national nursing quality indicators. Precepting and mentoring facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors are part of your role as needed.
