ED RN Job in Pasadena, TX

Join HCA Houston Southeast as an RN in our 22-bed freestanding emergency department. You will work the night shift (7 PM to 7 AM) on a 3x12 schedule for 13 weeks, starting September 7, 2026. This role offers $1,661 weekly pay and the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting procedures
• Operate equipment including defibrillators, Hamilton ventilators, Welch Allyn monitors, and bedside cardiac monitoring systems
• Document patient information in the Meditech Magic EMR system, transitioning to Meditech Expanse
• Work weekends as needed or every other weekend with no on-call requirements
• Float to Fairmont FSED when required

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong teamwork skills with focus on patient experience

Preferred Certifications:

• ENPC and NRP

Requirements:

• Royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes required (no crocs with holes)
• No false nails, air pods, or meta glasses permitted
• Personal stethoscope required for patient assessments

This is a straightforward travel nursing assignment with predictable night shifts, no on-call commitments, and a defined 13-week duration. You will work in a structured emergency environment with clear protocols and experienced team support.
