Emergency Room RN Job in Lonetree, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge as an RN in our Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, working 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll earn $1,812 weekly.

You'll work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio and support from a charge nurse who does not carry a patient assignment. This is a high-volume setting with a 30% admit rate and 28% EMS rate. The facility is a Level II trauma center, certified chest pain center, and thrombectomy-capable stroke center.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering acute care to emergency patients across all acuity levels
• Performing procedures typical of a Level II trauma ED
• Providing psychiatric and at-risk patient care with rigorous safety monitoring
• Administering procedural sedation using Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine
• Communicating effectively with patients and families
• Anticipating next steps in the plan of care and demonstrating proactive engagement

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care ED hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech (DOS platform) electronic medical record system
• Strong patient and family communication skills
• Exceptional patient engagement and customer service orientation

Preferred qualifications:

• CEN certification
• Prior experience with Meditech
• High-volume ED background
