Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week based on candidate preference
• Assignment length of 13-26 weeks
• Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13-week period can be automatically approved
• No on-call requirements
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Patient ratio of 4-6:1 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Patient population is 50% Medical and 50% Tele, adults only
• Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry experience required
• Must be a team player with superior communication skills and focus on positive patient outcomes
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Current RN License required - must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
• EMR system: EPIC
• Standard nursing equipment used on Telemetry unit
• Scrub color: Black
• Night shift orients on day shift - must be available the entire week for orientation
