Occupational Therapist Inpatient Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient services in Pittsfield, MA. This is a temporary position working 5x8 days, with a duration of 91 days beginning November 16, 2026. You will earn $2,700 weekly.

Your Role:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to inpatient clients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and participate in developing comprehensive patient plans of care
• Work with rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
• Work independently with minimal supervision or assistance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Minimum 2 years of current inpatient occupational therapy experience
• Massachusetts occupational therapy license (must be uploaded with profile)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current skills checklist within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years
• Own vehicle required

Schedule & Availability:

• Weekend shifts required as scheduled
• Holiday availability required; must be available for at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of submission; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• No on-call responsibilities

Additional Details:

8 hours of non-billable orientation is included. You will work independently in a supportive clinical environment with established protocols and team collaboration.
