PCU RN Job in Cleveland, OH

MetroHealth Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position on 7 West A. You will provide direct patient care in a medical step-down setting, supporting patients transitioning from intensive care to lower acuity monitoring.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Medical Step-Down
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating basis
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Weekly Pay: $2,382

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate care to patients requiring step-down level monitoring and intervention
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient progress
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 1 year of critical care or step-down experience
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of critical care or step-down experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
