Opportunity:

RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Rotation weekends required with 2 weekend day commitments and flexibility to meet the needs of the unit
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• Telemetry experience required with NIH certification
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Neuro-stroke, seizure, neurological disorders, cardiac, and neuro-surgical experience preferred
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Procedures performed on unit include peripheral IV starts, Foley and NGT insertions, and charting with Meditech
• All travelers are required to float per the facility's floating policy
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket for RNs
• Nail policy: clean and healthy
• Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
