Emergency Room RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's is seeking an RN for their Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel position beginning October 5, 2026, offering 3 shifts of 12 hours each week at $1,808 weekly.

Schedule and Environment

You will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in a 24-bed Emergency Department. Patient ratios are 4:1 under normal conditions, with 5:1 during surge periods. Day shift staffing includes 4 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 2 mid-shift RNs, 1 mid-shift Unit Clerk, and 1 EMT.

Clinical Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Port access and IV starts
• Venipuncture and nasal wash procedures
• Point of care testing including troponin, lactic acid, and urine dipstick analysis
• EKG acquisition and Foley placement
• Patient assessment and emergency nursing care

Systems and Tools

You will work with GE monitors and document using the Meditech/CPN EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• At least 1 year of current hospital ED experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification (or ENPC as alternative)
• TNCC certification
• NIH certification
• CPI Blue Card

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN or CPEN certification
• US IV competency
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience
