Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required as needed with approximately 1 week's worth of call over a 12-17 week contract
• On-call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday in the call rotation
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required
• ARRT or CCI certification required
• EPIC (CUPID and XPER Witt) experience required for hemodynamic monitoring
• Community hospital experience required
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics with a patient ratio of 3:1
• Perform 25-35 invasive cath procedures per day including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and Impella insertion
• Perform left and right heart catheterization, rotablator atherectomy, and EP lab procedures including device implantation and ablation
• Perform vascular lab procedures including fistula creation, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, and thrombectomy
• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation
• Scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining sterile field
• Perform and interpret EKG lead placement and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Work with adjunct cardiac therapies including CSI atherectomy, IMPELLA, IABP, ACIST, OCT, Swan, IVUS, and Angiojet
• Treat diagnoses including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, and abnormal electrical function of the heart
• Float to other campuses as needed
• Previous charge experience preferred
