Med Surg RN Job in Dallas, TX

You will work as a registered nurse in the Med Surg unit at Medical City Dallas. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 22, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Four weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule period

Unit Details

• Unit 610: Diabetic Endocrine 6 South
• 23-bed unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Shift staffing includes 6 RNs and 1–2 PCTs on day and night shifts

Your Responsibilities

• Perform general med surg practices and procedures
• Float to acute care areas including med surg, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho as needed
• Manage your time effectively to deliver quality patient care

Systems and Requirements

• EMR system: Meditech
• Required certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required attire: Royal Blue Scrubs
