ICU Intensive Care Unit RN Job in Lonetree, CO

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Adult ICU/CCU unit with 30 beds
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with potential for increased ratios during overflow
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse with RN coverage per 2-3 patients
• Nurse externs on staff to assist with patient care
• Work with Lenet beds and GE monitors
• EMR system: Meditech
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• Neuro certification preferred
• Neuro and trauma experience preferred
• Perform procedures including rapid intubation, chest tubes, and EVD
• Treat LVAD and CCRT patients
• Must be flexible and willing to change assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity
