ICU RN Job in Lonetree, CO

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• ICU/CCU Adult unit located on the 1st floor of the main building
• Unit consists of 30 beds with a staff of 57
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with potential for increased ratios during overflow
• Day and night shifts each have 1 charge nurse with RN covering 2-3 patients
• Nurse externs on staff to assist floor nurses
• Equipment used includes Lenet beds and GE monitors
• EMR system: Meditech
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• Neuro certification preferred
• Neuro and trauma experience preferred
• Perform rapid intubations, chest tubes, and EVD procedures
• Treat LVAD and CCRT patients
• Must be flexible and willing to change assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity
