Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 38-bed mixed ICU caring for Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and Neurosurgery patients including post-operative open-heart patients
• Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge nurse and 16-18 staff members
• Work with equipment including Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, ECMO Maquet Cardiohelp, Medtronic Vital Flow, and NICOM
• EMR system: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Perform bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, and arterial and central line insertions
• Provide airway care and frequent drip titrations
• Experience with VV and VA ECMO, Balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT required
• CVICU/CTICU experience with care of immediate post-operative open-heart surgery patients preferred
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH stroke scale
