ED Registered Nurse Job in Reidsville, NC

Cone Health – Annie Penn Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, offering $2,522 weekly pay on a 4x12 night shift schedule (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).

Schedule & Requirements:

• 4x12 night shifts, every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed; you must work 2 out of 4 holidays
• Float required as needed across campuses
• Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers welcome

Clinical Details:

You will provide care to patients of all ages—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient ratios are 5 patients on nights. The ED is STEMI and Stroke certified. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS; TNCC is preferred. You must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).

Required Skills:

• Arterial line management and blood gas interpretation
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Central line care and management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation
• IV vasopressors and starting/maintaining IVs
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Phlebotomy and triage
• CVA and traumatic brain injury management
• Neuro-trauma care
• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
• General emergency department combined adult and pediatric care

Experience & Systems:

Epic EMR experience is required. Community hospital experience and previous charge experience are preferred. STEMI and Stroke certified facility experience is preferred.

Support Services:

The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. Telemedicine capability is available.
