ED RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a 16-week travel assignment with a start date of October 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
• Weekly pay: $2,350
• Duration: 16 weeks (112 days)

About the Role

The Emergency Department is a 101-bed facility where you will provide direct patient care with typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients and up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds. You will float to all sections within the ED as needed but will not float outside the department. Every other weekend scheduling is required with no block scheduling commitments. Scheduling must meet departmental needs.

You will use Cerner for documentation and work with Baxter pumps and GE monitors. Support staff include techs in cardiac monitoring, internal processing, triage, and unit clerks available days and nights. Navy scrubs are required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an ER setting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED with greater than 100,000 visits preferred
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Required certifications before submission: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC
• CPI certification required before hire date
