Telemetry RN Job in Statesboro, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, caring for patients with remote cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical needs. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Shift

• Day shift: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required
• Schedule varies based on unit needs; blocked scheduling is not approved

Clinical Responsibilities

• Float between Med Surg and Telemetry departments only
• Manage 6–7 patients per shift with PCT support covering 14 patients total
• Deliver care to med-surg, post-op, orthopedic, CHF, and respiratory patients with telemetry monitoring
• Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications using bedside scanning technology
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in acute care
• Minimum 2 completed travel nursing assignments
• Recent acute care experience required
• Recent Cerner EMR charting experience required
• Current BLS certification required
