ED RN Job in Wichita, KS

You will work as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, beginning September 7, 2026. You'll work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a 14-bed emergency department with a typical patient ratio of 1:3–4. The night shift team includes a charge RN and multiple RNs covering various hours. You will perform procedures including central line insertion, chest tube placement, thoracic lavage, and intubations. You'll document care using the Meditech electronic medical records system and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, safe emergency care.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH
• ENPC and IO training preferred
