Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract duration
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated
• Block schedule may be accommodated as long as it does not require the same days every week
• 1 week maximum requested time off approved
• Floating required as needed, though rarely - may occasionally float to ICU to take Med Surg overflow or step-down patients
• General Med Surg unit with some post-op ortho and general surgery cases
• Very busy unit with quick turnover requiring ability to discharge and take admissions
• Patient ratio of 1:6, sometimes 1:7
• 36-bed unit
• Required to wear Royal Blue scrubs
• EMR system: Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
