CT Technologist Job in Carlisle, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at Central – UPMC Carlisle in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This is a 4x10 days position with a duration of 89 days, beginning November 2, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,382.

Role Responsibilities:

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Perform venipuncture and demonstrate proper use of power injector according to department and manufacturer protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Adjust protocols using independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation appropriately for diagnostic CT purposes
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and review patient history to apply specific departmental protocols
• Document patient history in electronic record and ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked, and charges entered
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and help alleviate concerns

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
