Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Float to other med-surgical units as needed, including across local campuses within the same discipline
• Care for Neuro/Ortho and Med Surg patient populations
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• 1.5+ years of experience required
• Experience with Heparin required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted), NIHSS
• Active Iowa nursing license required (verified through Nursys as Active Iowa/IA or compact nursing license)
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Tele discipline required
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Valid driver's license required
• All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
