Job Details:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy required
• Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
• Minimum five years of experience in a related unit required
• Two to three years of leadership experience preferred
• Current licensure in the state of Maine as a Respiratory Therapist required
• Must be in good standing with the Board of Respiratory Therapy
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and perform effectively in stressful situations
• Must possess effective communication and active listening skills
• Must have basic and intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Responsible for ongoing supervision of the clinical department including respiratory, sleep care, and pulmonary function
• Serve as first line support for staff, physicians, and other related providers on service-specific clinical issues
• Coordinate and supervise multiple functions, programs, or projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with the Director on clinical and non-clinical issues including employee relations, individual behaviors, and physician relationships
• Provide department support when the Director is unavailable
• Apply judgment, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex factors
