Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 4x10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call availability required as needed
• 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly
• 13-week contract duration
• Maximum of 1 week requested time off
• Floating to main OR may be required as needed
• Block scheduling will be accommodated when possible
• Work in the cardiovascular OR assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgery while maintaining a sterile environment
• Assist in turning over OR rooms to keep surgical cases flowing smoothly
• Unit consists of 4 ORs
• CST certification required - must be from NBSTA National Board of Surgical Technology
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with strong cardiac surgery skills
• Thoracic da Vinci experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from facility - local candidates not accepted
