Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 4x10 hour shifts, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekend call shifts required
• 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule required, may vary based on unit needs
• Official turnaround time of 40 minutes from call to clock-in for on-call shifts
• Holiday shifts as needed, discussed in advance
• No on-call required for night shift outside of scheduled call policy
• Will float within service line as needed
• Scrub and circulate experience required for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Primarily cardiac and thoracic cases; also includes vascular (open and endovascular procedures), transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas), and pancreatic procedures
• Heart and lung transplant experience required for night shift
• Must enter missing instruments into the CensiTrac system
• Fast-paced department with emergent cases; highest level of care in the region
• Treats adult patient population
• 16 operating rooms in the department
• 2 years of experience required; 1 year may be considered with Level 1 Trauma Facility experience
• BSN preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Scrub Navy dress code
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
