ICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract in the ICU. You will work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a rotating schedule, with every other weekend required. The assignment offers 36 guaranteed hours per week at $1,665 weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a 14-bed ICU with a standard 1:2 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients on vasopressors and critical care equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech system
• Float to the 20-bed Med/Surg unit as needed per facility policy, with a 1:5 patient ratio in that setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary critical care teams

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH stroke scale certification
• Demonstrated experience with vasopressors
• Meditech documentation experience preferred
