Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36-hour weekly guarantee
• 3 cancellations allowed per 13-week contract
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:4 pediatrics based on acuity level
• Must have 2 years of experience with strong neurological and cardiac skills
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• PALS certification preferred
• Work on 24-bed medical surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds
• Focus heavily on telemetry monitoring
• Care for adult patients (pediatric patients assigned to permanent staff)
• Float to all medical surgical units and ICU for overflow patients
• Use Allscripts Sunrise EMR system for documentation
• Work with support staff including tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs
• No IV team available - nurses perform IV procedures
• Scrubs required in any color except all black (scrubs not provided)
• BSN degree not required
