Job Details:

• Work a rotating schedule consisting of 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts, or 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Rotating coverage of afternoon and weekend shifts when permanent staff request time off
• 1 to 2 call shifts per week required
• 1 to 2 weekend call shifts required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Mandatory standby requirement with a 30-minute response time
• All shifts including midnight rotation required, with midnight RN serving as Charge RN
• Support 15 to 28 cases per day across 6 operating rooms and 1 procedural room
• Common cases include tonsils, hypospadias, rectus muscle, craniotomy, cardiac, and orthopedic procedures
• Scrubbing preferred but not required
• Floating required to 5N/1W and Children's units
• Charting performed in EPIC
• Scrubs provided on site
• 2-day orientation and checklist completion required
• Required certification: BLS
• BSN not required
• Facility can cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract period
• Trauma Level 1, Acute Care setting
• Driver's license address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
