Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Rehab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Cyclic self-scheduling available
• Weekend requirement: minimum every 3rd weekend
• Holiday requirement: minimum 2 holidays per contract
• No call or standby requirements
• Patient ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:6
• 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Care for adults and geriatrics with stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, brain injuries, critical illness, and neurological diseases including MS and Parkinson's
• Float to Med Surg units as needed
• BLS certification required
• Must pass open book skills exam with 90% score during orientation or face contract termination
• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• Classroom orientation plus 2 twelve-hour shifts of unit-specific orientation
• EPIC charting system
• Work with charge nurse on each shift and nurse aids/patient care techs
• Strong communication skills, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities essential
